Philosophy

Central Shipping Agency S.p.A., founded in 1990 by a group of 4 friends working in the shipping industry, is a neutral NVOCC working with freight forwarders. The Company has focused since the beginning on increasing the quality of services, developing a worldwide network of highly professional Agents and has confirmed his leading position on the NVOCC Italian market, with the building of its own 5000 square meter warehouse in Milan in 2008.
The Board of Directors is presently composed  by Paolo Bonucchi , Franco Minichino, Matteo Lacerenza and Pierluigi Amighetti (on behalf of Amighetti family).

Profile

Central Shipping Agency is not only a neutral NVOCC working with freight forwarders, but also operates in the tank container and air fields. The other core businesses of the Company are: chartering and vessel management, project cargo and transportation related to gas and oil industry. Central Shipping Agency operates through a large network of its own offices and exclusive agents in all main ports around the world, guaranteeing all the segments of the LCL service based in its own CFS warehouse. This warehouse, opened in January 2008 and located in

the Milan industrial area, is owned by the Company. The main geographical areas reached by weekly services are the Far East, Australia and New Zealand, India and the Subcontinent, Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Canary Islands, South Africa, East and West Africa, USA, Canada, Caribbean and South America. Central Shipping Agency (head office) is UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certified, guaranteeing the highest level of quality together with an innovative and personalized EDI and communication system.

The Company

Central Shipping Agency works exclusively with forwarding agents offering high quality LCL door to door service. Forwarding Agents entrust Central Shipping Agency to deal with the entire logistics process, in particular for destinations with very high operational difficulties. The Customers’ vision of Central Shipping Agency is, therefore, that of a neutral entity, able to solve any problem relative to all areas of high quality LCL service both in import and export.

One of the objectives

of the Central Shipping Agency Management is to widen the Company’s presence both nationally and internationally, through the acquisition of new Companies, in order to increase its market share and development all over the world. With thousands of LCL containers shipped every year both as import and export, Central Shipping Agency is rightly considered one of the largest Italian NVOCC companies, with an accurate and dedicated service.
