Notification is an official notification of government agencies for special categories of products, which is presented on the territory of the countries of the Customs Union (Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus). Who has the right to notify the goods?

The need to obtain a notification from the FSB arises from manufacturers of products or from a legal entity. In the second case, the manufacturer must issue a power of attorney issued in accordance with the established standards.

The applicant must be registered on the territory of the CU (EAEU). Foreign representatives are not entitled to receive a customs notification.

Notification Form

The following information must be indicated in a unified form:

• Name and purpose of products.

• Details of the manufacturer and the applicant.

• Cryptographic algorithms applied.

• Hidden functionality of the equipment not specified in the operating documents.

• Validity periods (have no restrictions and are set by the applicant).

The date of execution of the document is also indicated and a package of additional papers is attached: license, technical specifications, certificates describing the functions of the devices, the scope of their purpose, etc. In case of any inaccuracies, the notification is invalidated, which entails problems with the registration of products at customs.
